Stardew Valley First Summer Plan

A balanced Stardew Valley first-summer plan for crops, energy, mining, upgrades and keeping the farm manageable.

Summer should build on the routines you learned in spring. The goal is not maximum farm size; it is stronger income with less daily friction.

1. Expand crops only as far as your morning routine can support

More crops are useful only if watering them does not consume the whole day and leave no energy for progression elsewhere.

2. Keep some cash flexible

Reinvest in profitable activity, but avoid spending every coin immediately. Flexibility makes tool and infrastructure opportunities easier to use.

3. Keep mining in the weekly rhythm

Mining supports future upgrades and farm efficiency. Use lighter farm days to make steady progress instead of postponing it indefinitely.

4. End summer with easier routines

Judge progress by whether daily work is becoming simpler, storage is clearer and you have more time for exploration and relationships.
