Inventory management is easiest when you decide what belongs in your character inventory, what belongs at the base and what should be processed or discarded quickly.
1. Keep a predictable exploration loadout
Carry only the equipment, food and supplies that support the trip you are planning. Extra clutter reduces the amount of useful material you can bring home.
2. Unload immediately after returning
Put resources into their proper storage before starting another task. Fast unloading prevents the next trip from beginning with hidden inventory problems.
3. Organize by function, not perfection
Use broad categories such as crafting materials, food, equipment and special items. A simple system that everyone can understand is better than a complicated one that slows you down.
4. Treat carrying capacity as a planning limit
Plan trips around what you can realistically carry. If a resource run repeatedly ends early because of weight, change the route, storage plan or collection goal.
